10% off Xbox Gift Cards, 6-Month Xbox Live Gold for under $30, 55″ 4K Smart HDTV for $399.99, and more
If you’re looking for hot items such as the SNES Classic or Xbox One X, follow me at IGN Deals. I update that page immediately when they come in stock.
I’ll let you know when preorders become available, where to preorder, and what games will be enhanced for the Xbox One X. More news will be incoming from Microsoft themselves today, August 20.
Let’s not forget about the other console that has fans in a frenzy. Nintendo has already officially stated that preorders will go up at the back half of this month. Possibly durings Gamescom?
This is an exclusive officially licensed Loot Wear mystery tee. The actual shirt design won’t be revealed until your it ships on 9/19.
September’s Loot Crate theme is “Robotics” and includes authentic, licensed, or exclusive items from Aliens, Blade Runner 2049, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Contents won’t be revealed until your crate ships on 9/19.
This month’s theme is “Fortress” and includes items from Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Middler Earth: Shadow of War, Witcher III, and Dragon Age. In my opinion Witcher 3 and Zelda are two of the greatest games created, ever.
Update: One of the items has been revealed and it’s a good one. Behold the Dragon Age Inquistion Dragon Statue (see video).
If you plan to buy it from Amazon, keep in mind you will need to preorder it BEFORE release date in order to get the 20% off Prime discount, per Amazon’s new rules. Fortunately, we’ve already reviewed it.
Normally sells for $39.99. Technically, getting a 1-year Gold membership from CDKeys is a better value per month, but not everyone wants to commit to a 1-year subscription. Even CDKeys doesn’t have 6mo for this cheap.
10% off Xbox Gift Cards
You can combine this gift card discount with the Xbox video game sales that Microsoft hosts every week to get the best bang for your buck. The digital card will be sent to your inbox usually within 24 hours.
Can’t get much cheaper for a 55″ 4K HDTV with smart functionality. This TV has over 400 user reviews on Amazon with a great 84% rating.
Persona 5 is easily one of the best RPGs to grace the PS4 console. It scored an “Amazing” 9.7/10 at IGN.
The Echo is more powerful than just being a information device or Bluetooth speaker. It allows voice control for smart home devices. It’s possible to just say “Alexa, turn on the lights” or “Alexa, I want to watch Netflix”. Note that you’ll need appropriate Alex-compatible devices to make this work.
Over 400 discounted products to choose from. In addition to ArtFX and Kotobukiya there are plenty of other toys as well including $5 Funko POPs.
And now you know the name of the little creature that hangs out with Jabba the Hutt. This is an “add-on” item, which means that your order total has to be $25 in order to buy it.
The NVIDIA Shield is one of the best media streaming devices available. You can stream music, movies, and games from thousands of apps like Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube and more, even at Ultra 4K HD resolution. You can also stream games from a GeForce NOW equipped PC to your TV.
The Timbuk2 would make a great back to school bag. The Command model boasts 675 reviews on Amazon with a 90% average rating. It has compartments for both a laptop and a tablet.
This is an Amazon Deal of the Day and will expire at the end of today. There are some nice deals here, even if you don’t intend to use them for tailgating.
These TVs sell for retail price elsewhere, so the gift card is FREE MONEY. Gift card is emailed within 20 days and has a 90-day expiration.
This is slightly better than the 25% coupon code I posted last week. For smaller orders like single-item t-shirts and hoodies, you basically save on the shipping cost (starts at $7). When you start piling on more items, you start saving beyond shipping . Some of these indie artist-submitted designs are really outstanding and there are tons of video game and movie themed apparel. Definitely worth it to check out their inventory.
Cowin E-7 Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones for $38
The Cowins are massively popular with the IGN audience. I’ve bought one myself out of curiosity and my wife now uses it all the time for work. I’ve had IGN staff buy one and then buy more for their friends and family. For $37 you’re getting a headphone with 40mm large aperture drivers, wireless Bluetooth connectivity, active (not passive) noise cancellation, 30hrs of battery life, and built-in mic.
Use code “PSNCREDIT10” to get these prices below. These are digital codes that will be sent to your inbox usually within 24 hours.
This 10% off deal isn’t new, however there is now a Playstation “Attack of the Blockbusters Sale” for PS Plus members with some really good deals. Use the PSN credit to essentially get an extra 10% off on top of this sale.
Ecovacs Deebot N78 Robot Robotic Vacuum Cleaner for $135
This is one of the least expensive robot vacuums I’ve seen. Compared to the price of the average Roomba, you could buy TWO of these and clean two areas of the house. The reviews are actually pretty good, with 1055 Amazon buyers rating it 82%.
This headphone features a neckband that helps reduce the wire length on your earbuds and minimize the tugging yand tangling when you work out. The neckband is also flexible so you can tie it around your wrist or wherever when you need to stow it away during realy strenuous activities.
This isn’t just another boring low-tech neck pillow – it actively heats and massages your shoulders while you relax. Plus you won’t be embarrassed recommending this to friends like you would with other massagers.
Note: You can see in the game images which system it is compatible with. Most games are specifically for the PS3, with some for the PS4 or Vita.
Here’s an interesting deal from Humble. As always, get the highest tier to the best value. Paying $20 will net you:
- XCOM 2 ($20 for this game alone is a good deal)
- XCOM: Enemy Unknown
- XCOM: Enemy Within Expansion
- The Bureau: XCOM Declassified
- Borderlands 2 Ultimate Edition
- Mafia II
- Spec Ops: The Line
- Civilization Revolution 2 Plus
For those of you who already own Battlefront and don’t want to shell out for the Ultimate Edition, this $5 pass will give you all four expansions – Outer Rim, Bespin, Death Star and Rogue One: Scarif. Easily worth the money!
This is a pretty sweet sale that lasts through the weekend. Some of the best deals I’ve seen on rarely discounted items.
Oculus Rift VR Headset + Touch Controllers for $399
Update: From 8/7, now ships in new packaging. This deal is so good that I had to get one myself. IMO this is easily the best value among the big three VR headsets. The combination sold for $600 just a few months ago. Also includes 7 free titles including Epic Games’ incredible Robo Recall. This price adjustment is only temporary – it’s expected to go back up in August.
The Switch alone still sells for up to $400 from scalpers on eBay. For the same price, you might as well get some extra stuff including one or two must-have titles. Bundles also prevent scalpers from buying additional stock (they can’t really make money off bundles).
For storage that you can carry around, portable hard drives are easily the best value. They are small enough to fit in a pocket and yet hold boast way more capacity per dollar than USB flash drives. Best of all, there’s no need to lug around an extra power brick. Compatible with PS4 and Xbox One.

Pretty uncommon to find an Alienware desktop for under $1K. Specs include the newest gen Intel Core i5-7400 Quad-Core Kaby Lake processor, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, and GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics.
You can also upgrade to the GTX 1080 in the options (add $100 to the price). Other specs aren’t too shabby either – latest generation Intel Core i7-7700 quad-core processor, a whopping 16GB of RAM, and a 2TB hard drive.
This particular model has two very welcome upgrades compared to other Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop deals that I find. (1) This laptop comes equipped with a great looking 15″ 1080p IPS panel display. The default display is a TN panel. IPS panels give you a much wider viewing angle and better color uniformity and reproduction. (2) This laptop upgrades the default GTX 1050 video card to a GTX 1050 Ti, which performs about 15%-20% faster. Other specs include the latest gen Intel Core i5-7300HQ quad-core processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD.
This one is supposed to be big.

Big brother is watching, always has been and will always try to. VPN is the first and easiest step to making your internet activity a bit more anonymous. NordVPN consistently offers one of the lowest prices out of any of the VPNs we use at only $3.75 per month for a 1-year sub. It boasts a very user-friendly interface, doesn’t hog resources, and has a zero-log policy.
If you are lucky enough to have Verizion FIOS (fiber optic high-speed internet) coverage, there is a really great deal going on for 1yr of Triple Play service – 940Mbps downstream/880Mbps upstream internet, phone, and TV for $79.99/mo. After your 1yr is up, downgrade to internet only for $70/mo. Just as a comparison, Comcast Internet has up to 250Mbps downstream/12Mbps upstream with Blast… pretty huge difference.
